Players, friends of Monday night... |

"Bongo" Willy Bartholemew - "If you can feel it, it must be Willy." He's the original...Antics included: banging his head off of his bongo until it bleeds, bouncing around the room, sweaty, shirtless jamming, a Phishy outlook on life, driving hundreds of miles (after having seen a string of Phish shows) directly to the Cricketer's on a Monday evening to jam the night away, lots of tie dye and other cool shirts...We love him. He's Bongo Willy.
| |
Tom - The other original friend of Monday night. Though we didn't see him a lot towards the end, his spirit remained as we continued the tradition that started so many years ago with Tommy and Willy. |

Tony Hume - Brought to our ranks by Tom and Willy, Tony continued to make appearances, treating audiences with a charm and wit that helped his band, 4:20, become so popular. His first ever performance on a stage in Florida was at the Cricketer's Monday Night Jam.
| |
Captain Gino - Known throught the land as Gino, the brick. This is the only guy I know to get up and walk away after falling two stories from a ladder onto his back. Ouch! Transplanted from New York and now off to Mississippi, Gino added mass to the sound with his mighty congas. |

Tommy Reilly - What can truly be said about the great Tommy Reilly? He's a great talent and a great lush. We love watching his unique style (on and off the stage!). If you ever need some insight in life, ask Tommy. Don't listen, just ask.
| |
Carmen Cammaratta - CC in the house! Carmen has blasted onto the music scene as the newest member of Pitch Blue Jam, (replacing brother Dave the cat). He's been around since the start of it all and continued to carry the spirit with him whenever he shows. (Also does a great Al Pacino, too!) |

Jeff Howell - Jeff gets an honorable mention, since he never actually made it to Monday night (because he's the hardest working music man in Orlando), but he's definately part of the Cricketer's family, (he was playing every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). Anyway, this is such a cool picture of him, we had to put it on.
| |
David Rankin - One of Orlando's great talents, he'd been known to sneak in an strut his stuff. He's the Groove Bone incarnate and is THE member of one of Orlando's newest rockin' bands, The David Rankin Band. He'd been hanging with Ron and Dave since the beginning. |

Kevin - If you don't remember Kevin, you will. He was the one doing impressions and entertaining on the side while Ron and Dave were doing the music thing. Orlando's resident actor (he can be seen in the movie, Instinct), Kev's just waiting for the chance to break out. In the meantime, he came to do a few drinks and maybe a song with the boys. A fellow '88 WPHS graduate and longtime friend (and sot) of Ron and Dave's, if it wasn't for Kevin, Ron and Dave wouldn't be playing together today.
| |
Cheryl & Selena - Dave the cat's sisters. Once in a while, Cheryl came from Chicago to check her brother's intoxication progress and dragged their younger sister along for the ride (Don't worry, strictly Virgin Marys for Selena). It was always a joy to have family in the house. |

Alex - A kind and gentle soul (also a fellow '88 WPHS graduate), Alex enjoys a good party. One can actually determine his/her own sobriety by comparing themselves to Alex at any given occasion: If you're standing still and Alex is swaying, you're okay. If vice-versa, call a cab.
| |
Amy & Howard - Behold, fair Amy, the Queen of Monday nights and her king, Howard. We were sure to pay our respects to the Queen as she sat, greeting her subjects. Ruler of all she surveyed (usually from a chair in the back), she begrudgingly accepted her title and wore it well. Then there's Howard (Gino's big brother) who needs no other title than just Howard. Not Howie, not How's it goin', just Howard. And if you mess with him...POW...to the moon, Alice...I mean, Amy... |

Laurette & Rachel - These two beautifully beeming faces were important to the Ron and Dave Experience. Veritable experts in having a good time, this dynamic duo are two of Ron and Dave's great friends with heart to spare. A Monday without them just didn't seem complete.
| |
Nick - An important player in the Monday social scene, Nick is not one to be scared of debating life, liberty and the pursuit of drunkeness with anyone. Here's to a good guy with the perfect outlook to fit into the spirit of the evening, (also known to pick up a conga and jam). He was the official historian of the Ron and Dave Experience. |

Willy & Trina - This is one smiling couple of people. Yes, Bongo Willy found the lovely Trina to join his travels in this mad, mad world, but, by no means did Bongo Willy "settle down." He just smiled a bit more. And who better than Trina, very spiritual and fun-loving in her own right, to make it all worthwhile. Isn't that sweet?
| |
Jeff & Sue - Here's one of our long-time, favorite friends now living in Denver. As the president of the Denver chapter of The Ron & Dave Fan Club, Jeff could be the means by which we branch into the Rockies and beyond. (At least we'll have a place to crash.) And, as for Sue, well... any friend of Jeff's is a friend of ours. |

Dennis - The manager of The Cricketer's Arms, Dennis' infectious smile makes anyone's day. He's the greatest. He was known to make special appearances on Mondays, (you could tell by the choices of music between sets). None of this would have been possible without Dennis, so thank him for us when you see him.
| |
Hughie - The Cricketer's Arms original bartender, Hughie's authentic English dry wit and incredible memory for a patron's drink of choice make you feel right at home, even if you aren't from England! Take it from Hughie, "You need a drink, chap." |

Jon - Bartender #2, he's one of the Cricketer's Arms original lushes, (he's the only one to drink his way behind the bar, though). He's an English original as well. Jon's innate charm and wit makes him a very welcome (and handsome, ladies) personality after a long day.
| |
Seth - One of four original Jagermeister brothers, Seth is one of the Cricketer's original patrons. He's shared many a Jager with brother Dave and continued the tradition weekly on Monday nights. A fellow Tennesseean (lots of soul there, brother), Seth is definitely one to share some good times with. |

Phil - Also known to make occasional appearances on Monday's, Phil is the jolly owner of The Cricketer's Arms. I can't think of a guy more fun to drink with, (the chance of late night singing at the bar is always most likely with Phil around. He knows all of the English classics). Cheers to Phil for bringing a piece of England to Orlando.
| |
Max - Truly the "Norm", Max has got to hold the record for most consecutive nights as a Cricketer's patron. Being an English original himself (and one of the original Spice Boys, "Old Spice"), he helped to ensure the authenticity of the English pub atmosphere by simply being there. Everyone knew Max. To know Max was... well, to know Max. |

The Cirque du Soleil Musicians - More than dedicated to the spirit of the jam, these guys brought a drum set and bass rig to turn our humble acoustic evening into an all-out electric party. We really dug it when they show up, and the example they set changed Monday forever.

Group photo #1 - These lovely ladies are some fun people. Good music and a good time are high on their list of priorities, and we just love their taste in music. What more do you need, people? From left to right, (top) Eden, Elizabeth, Michelle, Laurette, (bottom) Rachel, Terry. |

Group photo #2 - Gone Phishin'. Here's the motley crew that took the July 4th,1999 weekend journey to see Phish in Atlanta. See how happy and non-violent everyone looks? (An obscure Woodstock '99 reference) Click on the photo to see the bigger picture.
